An innovator.

Since founding Second Floor Music publishing in 1978, Don has reimagined jazz publishing and brought it to new forms and media. He started with historic print publications like the two different original recorded arrangements of “Joy Spring” and many other great hard bop titles, then developed jazzleadsheets.com (an instant digital download website with sheet music, transcriptions and practice tools). Don has taken jazz to a new level, exposing it to new audiences and encouraging in-depth engagement.
